Information on Bi

Here is some info i found on Rain (Bi) from kpopmusic.com. I really liked it so i wanted to post on my blog.

Rain (also known as Bi) is a Korean pop singer whose real name is actually Jung
Ji Hoon. He was born on June 25, 1982, and debuted in April of 2001. He is a
popular solo singer in South Korea with a very deep and rich voice and amazing
dancing skills. Bi / Rain ( Jung Ji Hoon ) has also done acting, being a very
well-rounded entertainer. Bi / Rain is very down-to-earth and friendly, even a
little shy.Bi Rain is becoming more and more popular over the last few years,
and is now dawning at the level of an international star.

On May 29, 2005, Bi Rain ( Jung Ji Hoon ) was invited to the MTV Japan Awards as a performing artist in Tokyo, Japan. Bi Rain is the only non-Japanese Asian singer to perform at the show. Other international guest artists included American singers Ashanti, and Mariah Carey. Bi Rain performed the title song from his latest album, It's Raining. On July 1, 2005, Rain held his third album showcase and press conference in Beijing, China. Bi Rain also performed at various mini concerts in Hong Kong on July 3-5. Thousands of fans swamped the Hong Kong International Airport to greet him. His popularity in Hong Kong and China has soared since the KBS series "Full House", starring the artist, aired in that country.

Rain also talked about the five reasons for his existence _ first, the hope of having a daughter that resembles his future wife, not him; second, to give happiness to his family, who went through tough times; third, for his mentor Park Jin-young, staff and close friends who support him; fourth, his fans and fifth, food.(i would like to know where God fits into his reasons for existence....i'll keep praying. i love you Bi!)
